There are 21 studios available at Beeching Road Studios, artists will be offered an allocated studio based upon where the steering group feel they will suit in the building, studios will not be allocated based upon personal preference. The steering group will look to build a curated dialogue between studio holders and a practical blend which will define where each studio holder is located within the studio units.

Context

The studios have been made available at Beeching Rd as part of the growing cluster of arts organisations (Flatland Projects, Common Clay, Wheelhouse Ltd & Unit 33 Book Bindery) set across 1,560 sqm of light industrial space. The overarching vision for Beeching Road Studios is to allow for a new artist community to establish itself within Bexhill-on-Sea benefitting from the pre-existing flourishing arts community of wider East Sussex that will inspire a new generation of young people to visualise a creative career born on the South East coast.
