Studios
The Beeching Road Studios provides a curated studio community in Bexhill, East Sussex.
Run by Rother District Council the Beeching Road Studios (BRS) will be available from August 2022 and will be allocated through an application process managed by the BRS steering group.
Prices start from £125 per month (including utilities) for a 2m x 3m studio and go to £250 per month for a 4m x 3m studio. Please Note: Quoted prices are exclusive of payable VAT.
BRS will become home to over 27 independent artists, makers and creative businesses at all stages of their careers.
All studio holders have access to natural light, kitchen facilities, free wi-fi and a limited amount of free parking outside the studios' buildings. The buildings will be accessible between the hours of 7am-10pm via a fob system and each studio locks independently. BRS also already host Flatlands in the gallery space, and Common Clay, Wheelhouse Ltd in the commercial units.
Studio spaces will be allocated through an application process which will be curated by the BRS steering group, made up of representatives from Rother District Council, Flatlands, Bexhill College and the De La Warr Pavilion. All decisions will be taken by the whole group and decisions are final.
